WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

ERYTHRITOL

Sourcing: It is produced by microbial fermentation of a carbohydrate substrate. 

Benefits: Erythritol has a conditioning action that improves hair combability. It improves the surface structure of the hair by restoring the cells of the cuticle tiles back into position and providing smoothness to the hair.

CETYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: fatty alcohol obtained from coconut, therefore it is natural harvested.

Benefits: it is used as emollient, emulsifier, thickener and conductor for other ingredients in cosmetic solutions. It also works to allow the product more coverage and to be easily spread and blended into skin. 

CETEARYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: mixture of cetyl and stearic alcohols that are produced naturally in plants.

Benefits: these alcohols have the ability to prevent emulsions from separating between their oily and watery parts. These ingredients are also used to alter the thickness of liquid products, to increase foam capacity or to stabilize them.

CAPRYLOYL GLYCERIN/SEBACIC ACID COPOLYMER

Extraction: it is obtained from coconut oil and ricinolein acid found in castor oil.  

Benefits: forms a barrier on the skin that retains moisture and helps maintain hydration. It can be used as an alternative to plant-derived oils/Poly isobutene/silicon/esters due to its resistance to lipid oxidation

ARGAN OIL Eco

Extraction: argan is a small tree with a thorny trunk native to the southwestern region of Morocco. Its oil comes from the extract of the seeds that the tree produces. Its seed is similar to an almond and it is pressed manually until the oil is extracted. Argan oil extraction is a Berber tradition.

Benefits: known as liquid gold, its main function is to nourish the skin and keep hair silky, manageable and shiny. It is a potent moisturizer and contains vitamins (primarily vitamin E), antioxidants and essential fatty acids (80%). It does not leave excess oil on the skin and absorbs quickly, so it is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin types. It also has healing properties and works to sooth skin irritations and inflammation.

HYDROLYSED CORN PROTEIN

Extraction: obtained from acid, alkaline or enzymatic hydrolysis of Zea mays composed mainly of amino acids, peptides and proteins.  

Benefits: It has antistatic properties, reducing static electricity on the surface of the hair, supplying conditioning. Leaves hair easy to comb, flexible, soft and shiny and gives volume, lightness and shine.

SOY PROTEIN

Extraction: soy biopeptides are obtained by enzymatic depolymerization of soy proteins.

Benefits: due to its protein composition, soybean biopeptides manage to protect hair from external aggressions, restore hair fiber and achieve a soft and radiant appearance.

HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN

Extraction: it comes from the controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of wheat and is gluten free. It is rich in proteins and amino acids, essential elements for a healthy metabolism. 

Benefits: it increases skin’s firmness and helps to form a film to retain moisture and provide luminosity. It prevents the skin from drying out and diminishes the appearance of wrinkles. It nourishes and repairs hair, detangles, provides shine and hydration.

HYDROLYZED VEGETABLE PROTEIN

Obtaining: obtained from plant-derived protein hydrolysates from wheat, corn, soybeans and peas.  

Benefits: Conditions hair and skin and adds shine. It has charge neutralization ability that can be used as an antistatic agent. Its amino acid composition can help restructure the hair fibber and reduce damage caused by external factors.

ARTICHOKE

Extraction: it is obtained via a solvent extraction process from the artichoke’s basal leaves. This is where the highest concentration of biologically active compounds are found.

Benefits: the artichoke is a rich in calcium and phosphorus, and vitamins A, B and C. Its extract is commonly used to enhance the natural beauty of hair. It nourishes, conditions by providing numerous minerals and helps to eliminate dandruff by forming a protective layer over the hair.

POLYGLYCERYL-4 ÉSTERES DE SEMILLAS DE MACADAMIA

Extraction: it is obtained from the union of Macadamia oil together with vegetable polyglycerols.  

Benefits: it has conditioning and restructuring properties for the hair fibber

HYDROLYZED CHESTNUT EXTRACT

Extraction: water-soluble extract obtained from organic Italian chestnut flour. It contains the components naturally present in the flour; solubilized thanks to the specific extraction process. It is particularly rich in water-soluble carbohydrates and more complex enzymatically hydrolysed polysaccharide fractions together with small peptides and minerals.  

Benefits: it has film-forming and protective activity, favours the maintenance of healthy skin and hair.

BETAINA

Sourcing : Derived from sugar beet roots.

Benefits: It is a mild surfactant. Provides immediate and long-term hydration and moisturising. Manages the skin's water balance and strengthens the skin barrier. Protects the skin barrier from surfactants.

DIHEPTYL SUCCINATE

Extraction: It is a natural, ecological and biodegradable emollient that comes from castor oil.  

Benefits: Diheptyl succinate is a natural emollient, alternative to silicones. It can reduce the greasiness and stickiness of oils in formulas, providing a better feeling on the skin. Enhances shine and texture to hair and skin, while providing additional useful slip for detangling.

BRASSICYL VALINATE ESYLATE

Extraction: Brassicyl valinate esylate is a natural conditioning agent derived from fermented rapeseed oil.  

Benefits: Offers conditioning, detangling and antistatic properties for the hair.

TRIOLEIN

Extraction: Triolein, also known as triolein, is a triglyceride of oleic acid and represents 4-30% of olive oil. It is also found in almond oil.

Benefits: moisturising agent, it is also used as a controlling agent of the product's viscosity.

VEGETABLE OIL

Obtenció: Oli d'origen vegetal compost principalment per triglicèrids d'àcids grassos.

Beneficis: Suavitza i calma la pell, per aquest motiu el trobem en la majoria de productes cosmètics. És un excel·lent emolient i hidratant de la pell que actua com a barrera per a evitar la pèrdua d'hidratació cutània. És adequat per a pells seques i sensibles.

CAESALPINA SPINOSA GUM

Extraction: 100% vegetable material derived from the endosperm of the Caesalpinia spinosa plant, native to Peru.

Benefits: works as a thickening agent, emulsion stabilizer and texturizer in cosmetic products.

PENTYLENE GLYCOL

Extraction: natural pentylene glycol is obtained from renewable plant-based sources such as sugar cane or maize.

Benefits: commonly used in moisturising creams and lotions for its hydrating properties, which help retain moisture in the skin. It also has antibacterial and preservative effects, helping other active ingredients act better on the skin.

BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-1

Extraction: it is an anionic polysaccharide rich in fucose of biotechnological origin that is produced by bacterial fermentation of plant-based substrates.  

Benefits: moisturising and soothing cosmetic active ingredient for the skin and that has hair conditioning and repairing properties. It provides long-lasting hydration through the fixation of water to the epidermis by forming a moisturising film that does not become occlusive. This film gives us a smooth and slippery touch on skin and hair without leaving shine or a sticky feeling.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

CITRIC ACID

Extraction: citric acid is a weak organic acid found in fruits such as lemons and oranges. Lemon juice contains approximately 5-8% citric acid.

Benefits: citric acid and its salts: Diammonium, Potassium and Sodium help to preserve cosmetics since they are metal chelating agents. Citric acid and its salts are also added to cosmetics to help regulate the acid / base levels. Functions as a powerful antioxidant and helps to regulate and maintain skin’s hydration and elasticity.

GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE

Extraction: Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is a derivative of guar seeds. It is a type of galactomannan, a polysaccharide, which forms a viscous gel called guar gum when mixed with cold water.  

Benefits: Often used as an antistatic and conditioning agent for hair or skin; it also increases the viscosity of cosmetics.

LACTIC ACID

Extraction: Lactic acid is obtained from the natural fermentation of sugars and is used to adjust the pH of cosmetic products due to its acidic nature.

Benefits: This ingredient allows cosmetics to be milder for skin and hair.

SODIUM GLUCONATE

Extraction: Manufactured by fermentation of glucose syrup derived from the corn renewable raw material.

Benefits: It is a chelating agent that inactivates metal ions to prevent deterioration of cosmetic products

CALCIUM GLUCONATE

Extraction: Calcium salt from gluconic acid. 

Benefits: It is used as a skin humectant and conditioning agent in cosmetic formulations.

SODIUM LEVULINATE

Extraction: Sodium Levulinate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to be able to control microorganism colonies without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE

Extraction: natural ester of vegetable origin of glycerin and caprylic acid.

Benefits: acts as an emulsion stabilizer and a moisturizing agent.

SODIUM ANISATE

Extraction: Sodium Anisate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from anise and fennel.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to have a great mitotic inhibitor activity without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other natural ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

SODIUM BENZOATE

Extraction: benzoic acid salt that is naturally found in blueberries, prunes, cinnamon and apple.

Benefits: it is used as a cosmetic preservative to prevent the growth and proliferation of fungi and bacteria in the products. 

POTASSIUM SORBATE

Extraction: is the potassium salt of sorbic acid that occurs naturally in mountain berries (Sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: acts as a preservative, protecting cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. This compound is easily metabolized by the body and produces water and CO2, therefore it is completely harmless.
