WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

PENTYLENE GLYCOL

Extraction: natural pentylene glycol is obtained from renewable plant-based sources such as sugar cane or maize.

Benefits: commonly used in moisturising creams and lotions for its hydrating properties, which help retain moisture in the skin. It also has antibacterial and preservative effects, helping other active ingredients act better on the skin.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

ISOMALT

Sourcing: vegetable origin.

Benefits: it is an excipient of the formulation, specifically a humectant, it maintains the water content of the formulation.

ARGININE

Extraction: arginine is an amino acid obtained by biofermentation. It is one of the main components of hair keratin. Acts as a source of nitrogen for proper cell function, generating a vasodilator effect that improves blood circulation.

Benefits: used in many formulas as a natural stabiliser, much safer than conventional alkaline agents, it is known for its effectiveness in fighting hair loss. It is biodegradable.

CAESALPINA SPINOSA GUM

Extraction: 100% vegetable material derived from the endosperm of the Caesalpinia spinosa plant, native to Peru.

Benefits: works as a thickening agent, emulsion stabilizer and texturizer in cosmetic products.

CONDITIONING MEDIUM OF TURMERIC"

Extraction: turmeric is a tropical and subtropical plant, characterised by its orange rhizomes, highly branched and cylindrical. This rhizome is a modified root, which acts as a storage and resistance organ.

Benefits: it is used for the prevention and reduction of hair loss, achieving an increase in density. It is also an important stimulator of follicular activity, optimising the hair cycle and providing improvements in the density, strength and health of the hair.

MACA ROOT EXTRACT

Sourcing: maca tuber root extract.

Benefits: repairing, strengthening and protecting the hair fibre, while increasing its elasticity and reducing hair loss.

LINDERA STRYCHNIFOLIA ROOT EXTRACT

Sourcing: Obtained from the roots of Lindera strychnifolia, a small shrub native to Southeast Asia.

Benefits: Reduces hair loss and stimulates hair growth, thus increasing hair density.

PISUM SATIVUM SPORUT EXTRACT

Sourcing: Optained by soaking organic pea seeds in water and then transferring them to rotating containers that provide drainage, light, aeration and agitation.

Benefits: increase the coefficient of hair growth, by activation in the dermal papilla of specific signal molecules that are required to initiate the growth of new hair.

AMLA FRUIT

Extraction: also known as the Indian gooseberry, the Amla is a small tree of the euphorbiaceae family. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia.

Benefits: plant derived, it maintains the skin in optimal conditions and acts as a moisturiser.

SOYBEAN GERM EXTRACT

Extraction: soy is an herbaceous plant of the leguminous family whose seeds have a great nutritional value. Its extract is highly valued in cosmetics for its properties.

Benefits: it has moisturising, regenerating, protective and softening properties. Soy is also a rich source of protein and other essential nutrients such as potassium or zinc. It is a powerful antioxidant agent due to its isoflavone content.

WHEAT GERM EXTRACT

Extraction: it is obtained from the wheat germ, that belongs to the family of grasses, providing vitamin E.

Benefits: it has an outstanding antioxidant property and a huge cell regeneration and healing capacity. It improves blood circulation and gives a healthier appearance to the skin. Its antioxidant properties delay skin ageing, preventing wrinkles and providing greater skin firmness.

BAIKAL SKULLCAP ROOT EXTRACT

Extraction: it is extracted from the root of the Scutellaria Baicalensis, a plant from the Lamiaceae family that is part of the 50 essential herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Benefits: several bioactive compunds, such as flavonoids, are extarcted from its root. They have important anti-inflammatiry and antieczematous properties, in addition to numerous pharmacological properties.

MUNG BEAN SPROUTS AND RED CLOVER

Extraction: the mung bean is one of the most nutritious varieties of legumes, characterised by its easy digestion. In the case of red clover, also a member of the legume family, it is a plant found in Europe, Africa, or Asia, being one of the most important sources of isoflavones.

GINKGO BILOBA Eco

Extraction: Ginkgo is a unique, old species of tree which resistant to the adverse changes in climate. The Ginkgo biloba species is one of the best known examples of living fossils. Its extract is obtained from the leaves which are rich in flavonoids. It has been used for millennia in traditional Chinese medicine to stimulate central and peripheral blood circulation.

Benefits: its high concentration of flavonoids and terpenes makes it a valuable ingredient for reducing skin inflammation and combating the oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It helps increase blood circulation and prevents hair loss.

SERENOA SERRULATA FRUIT EXTRACT

Sourcing: Extract from the fruit of the Serenoa Serrulata palm tree. 

Benefits: Anti-inflammatory and moisturising activity.

CETYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: fatty alcohol obtained from coconut, therefore it is natural harvested.

Benefits: it is used as emollient, emulsifier, thickener and conductor for other ingredients in cosmetic solutions. It also works to allow the product more coverage and to be easily spread and blended into skin. 

SORBITAN OLEATE

Sourcing: vegetable origin

Benefits: its function is to help mix the aqueous phase with the oil in the formulation.

STERAMINE

Sourcing: synthetic.

Benefits: Reduces static electricity and acts as a hair conditioner.

GLUCONOLACTONE

Extraction: gluconic acid ester obtained via bio-fermentation.

Benefits: a composed of multiple hydroxyl groups that attract water, leading to increased skin hydration.  In other words, it acts as a humectant.

DIMIRISTOIL FOSFATIDILCOLINE

Sourcing: vegetable, obtained from soya pods.

Benefits: lipids very similar to those in the lipid barrier of the skin.

POLYGLYCERYL-4 LAURATE/SEBACATE

Extraction: lauric acid ester, a saturated fatty acid with antibacterial properties, and Polyglycerin-4. It is a natural, biodegradable ingredient approved by Ecocert.

Benefits: acts as a skin conditioner, emollient, solubilizer and emulsifying agent.

POLYGLYCERYL-6 CAPRYLATE / CAPRATE

Extraction: caprylic acid monoester, a saturated fatty acid with antifungal properties, and Polyglycerin-6. It is a natural, biodegradable ingredient approved by Ecocert.

Benefits: acts as a skin conditioner, emollient, solubilizer and emulsifying agent.

LACTIC ACID

Extraction: lactic acid is used to balance the pH of cosmetic products.

Benefits: this ingredient allows cosmetics to be milder for skin and hair.

GELLAN GUM

Extraction: it is a microbial gum obtained from the aerobic fermentation of glucose or lactose. It is also known as a microbiological gelling agent.

Benefits: it does not suffer alterations in its properties with changes in temperature. It acts as a suspending agent and emulsifier, keeping the oil and water phases together at all times.

PHYTIC ACID

Extraction: it is an organic acid that contains phosphorous present in plants, especially in seeds and fibre.

Benefits: it reduces wrinkles that are extinguished by the underlying layer of the skin. In the same way, it hydrates and accelerates the natural peeling process of the skin, exfoliating deeply. It is also a chelating agent.

FOSFATIDILCOLINA

Sourcing: vegetable, obtained from soya pods.

Benefits: lipids, very similar to those in the skin's lipid barrier, helps skin regeneration.

SODIUM LEVULINATE

Extraction: Sodium Levulinate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to be able to control microorganism colonies without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

MALTODEXTRINA

Obtainment: His sugar is obtained from starch, derived from rice, corn or potato.

Benefits: It has the ability to stabilise cosmetic formulations as well as act as a link between different ingredients. It also acts as a suspension forming agent and film former.

CALCIUM GLUCONATE

Extraction: Calcium salt from gluconic acid. 

Benefits: It is used as a skin humectant and conditioning agent in cosmetic formulations.

LEVULINIC ACID

Extraction: Levulinic Acid is a 100% natural preservative obtained from the degradation of cellulose.

Benefits: it is a mild preservative that control colonies of microorganisms without altering the integrity, colour or pH of the other ingredients included in the product. It has very good antibacterial properties.

MANNITOL

Sourcing: Natural, extracted from trees, seaweed or mushrooms.

Benefits: Moisturises, strengthens the skin barrier and regulates scalp desquamation.

SODIUM GLUCONATE

Extraction: Manufactured by fermentation of glucose syrup derived from the corn renewable raw material.

Benefits: It is a chelating agent that inactivates metal ions to prevent deterioration of cosmetic products

SODIUM CHLORIDE

Extraction: sodium chloride is obtained from the mineral halite and is commonly known as table salt. It is a mineral essential for all biological organisms and is found in most tissues and body fluids.

Benefits: it is used to give flavour and to thicken the aqueous portion of beauty care products.

POTASSIUM SORBATE

Extraction: is the potassium salt of sorbic acid that occurs naturally in mountain berries (Sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: acts as a preservative, protecting cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. This compound is easily metabolized by the body and produces water and CO2, therefore it is completely harmless.

SODIUM BENZOATE

Extraction: benzoic acid salt that is naturally found in blueberries, prunes, cinnamon and apple.

Benefits: it is used as a cosmetic preservative to prevent the growth and proliferation of fungi and bacteria in the products. 

P-ANISIC ACID

Obtainment: This ingredient is found naturally in the anise, an herb of the Apiaceae family native to South-West Asia and the eastern Mediterranean basin, and therefore, it is 100% plant-based.

Benefits: It is an innovative natural preservative, acts as a flavouring agent, preservative and and masks unpleasant odours.
