Benefits: The active rebalances the vulvar mucosa by enhancing epithelial cell attachment. It achieves this by decreasing TNF-α. This protein, through the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (c-JNK)-dependent pathway, decreases filaggrin and loricrin. As TNF decreases, filaggrin and loricrin increase.
