Croton Lechleri Resin Extract

Extraction: It is a hydroglycolic extract of the resin of the Croton lechleri ​​tree with multiple beneficial properties for the treatment of the skin. Its common Peruvian name is Dragon's Blood because when the bark of the tree is cut or wound, a dark red resin comes out and it looks like the tree is bleeding.

Benefits: The resin is highly valued for its healing activity thanks to the content of the alkaloid taspine and taspine hydrochloride and its antioxidant activity thanks to the high presence of protoananidins.
