ALOE VERA POWDER Eco

Extraction: Aloe Vera is a perennial plant native to warm climates. The gel contained in its leaves is commonly used in skin treatments due to its many beneficial properties.

DECYL GLUCOSIDE

Extraction: natural non-ionic surfactant derived from coconut oil and glucose.

Benefits: used in the formulation of personal hygiene products in which abundant foam is desired. It also works as a mild cleanser and maintains skin’s natural pH balance. It is 100% biodegradable, making it environmentally friendly and suitable for all skin types.

COCO GLUCOSIDE

Extraction: non-ionic surfactant and co-surfactant of vegetable origin, biodegradable and very suitable for use in shampoos and shower gels. It is obtained from renewable raw materials such as coconut oil and the sugar found in fruits.

Benefits: it reduces the potential for irritation caused by surfactants and improves hair styling, in addition to softening it.

CAPRYLYL / CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE

Extraction: solubilizer and non-ionic surfactant obtained from raw vegetable materials such as coconut.

Benefits: it is a mild ingredient that allows cosmetics products to obtain the desired foamy effect. It acts as a surfactant by helping water mix with oil and remove dirt.

DISODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE

Extraction: It is obtained from coconut oil and fermented sugar. This surfactant is one of the most gentle and respectful to the skin so it is tolerated by all types of skins.

Benefits: In addition to being an excellent cleaner and foam generator, it is also eco-friendly.

VEGETABLE INULIN

Extraction: a fructose polysaccharide extracted from plants. It is ideal for the production of shampoos. It is usually extracted from chicory (vegetable) root, but it is also present in other types of vegetables and also in garlic, onion, wheat, asparagus, artichoke...

Benefits: excellent moisturizer for skin and hair. It smooths skin and hair and acts as a natural non-ionic hair conditioner to smoothen hair fibres. Suitable for all hair and skin types.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

PCA GLYCERYL OLEATE

Extraction: this ester is obtained from the saponification (transformation of a fatty body into soap) and esterification of vegetable oils and sugars of natural origin.

Benefits: excellent conditioner used in hair care products given its ability to improve wet styling and reduce frizz. This ingredient adheres to the cuticles and renews the lipid layer of the hair.

HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN

Extraction: it comes from the controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of wheat and is gluten free. It is rich in proteins and amino acids, essential elements for a healthy metabolism. 

Benefits: it increases skin’s firmness and helps to form a film to retain moisture and provide luminosity. It prevents the skin from drying out and diminishes the appearance of wrinkles. It nourishes and repairs hair, detangles, provides shine and hydration.

ARGAN OIL Eco

Extraction: argan is a small tree with a thorny trunk native to the southwestern region of Morocco. Its oil comes from the extract of the seeds that the tree produces. Its seed is similar to an almond and it is pressed manually until the oil is extracted. Argan oil extraction is a Berber tradition.

Benefits: known as liquid gold, its main function is to nourish the skin and keep hair silky, manageable and shiny. It is a potent moisturizer and contains vitamins (primarily vitamin E), antioxidants and essential fatty acids (80%). It does not leave excess oil on the skin and absorbs quickly, so it is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin types. It also has healing properties and works to sooth skin irritations and inflammation.

ALMOND OIL Eco

Extraction: almond oil is composed of monounsaturated fats (healthy fats found in plant foods), oleic acid and linoleic acids (such as Omega 3 and 6). It is almost transparent in color with yellow or golden hues and is almost odourless.

INDIAN HORSE-CHESTNUT

Extraction: The horse chestnut is a tree that belongs to the Sapindáceas family an d is native to Asia. It is very rich in molecules such as saponins and flavonoids and also contains tannins, starch and proteins. Its varied composition allows for a wide array of benefits. It is ideal for the most sensitive skins.

Benefits: It is used to treat vascular problems. As a tonic, Indian horse-chestnut helps to unblock blood vessels and its the Aescin found in the horse-chestnut has anti-inflammatory properties. These properties make it a perfect ingredient to strengthen capillary circulation. It is also credited with healing, antioxidant and hemostatic properties (it is capable of restricting hemorrhages).

GRAPEFRUIT

Extraction: grapefruit is a fresh fruit that contains unique phytochemicals known as bioflavonoids. These compounds help promote skin and overall health.

Extraction: phanerogamous herb of the asteraceae family originally from central and southern Europe. It is quite widespread.

Benefits: softens, hydrates and soothes damaged skin. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Its antimicrobial property fights skin irritations. It also stimulates blood circulation.

CALENDULA

Extraction: this extract is obtained from the calendula flower, an aromatic plant form the Asteraceas family.

Extraction: this extract is obtained from the buds of the scots pine, arboreal species of the family Pinaceae. It is originally from Eurasia and is commonly used in pharmacology.

ROSEMARY

Extraction: rosemary is an aromatic, woody, evergreen shrub with many small branches. It can grow up to 2 meters in height. It grows on all types of soils, preferably dry, somewhat sandy and permeable soils. Its extract is obtained from the rosemary leaves via a maceration process.

Extraction: sodium salt of cocoyl-glutamic acid. This natural ingredient is extracted directly from coconut oil.

Benefits: surfactant and cleaning agent.

GLYCERYL OLEATE

Extraction: natural monoester derived from glycerol and oleic acid. Creates water-oil emulsions where water is the most abundant compound, but it can also be used as a co-emulsifier and thickener for formulations where the composition is mostly oil.

Benefits: it is used as an emulsifier and non-ionic co-surfactant in various skin and hair care products. Leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.

XANTHAN GUM

Extraction: natural polysaccharide of high natural weight derived from the fermentation of carbohydrates such as glucose or corn syrup.

Benefits: it is used as a binder, emulsion stabilizer and skin conditioning agent in a wide variety of cosmetics and personal care products. 1% of xanthan gum is used for cosmetic formulations.

DEHYDROACETIC ACID

Extraction: dehydroacetic acid is a mild preservative widely used in cosmetics for products.

CITRIC ACID

Extraction: citric acid is a weak organic acid found in fruits such as lemons and oranges. Lemon juice contains approximately 5-8% citric acid.

Benefits: citric acid and its salts: Diammonium, Potassium and Sodium help to preserve cosmetics since they are metal chelating agents. Citric acid and its salts are also added to cosmetics to help regulate the acid / base levels. Functions as a powerful antioxidant and helps to regulate and maintain skin’s hydration and elasticity.

SODIUM PHYTATE

Extraction: sodium salt from phytic acid, a vegetable compound found in corn.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetic products as a chelating agent to prevent the heavy metals.

GLUCONOLACTONE

Extraction: gluconic acid ester obtained via bio-fermentation.

Benefits: a composed of multiple hydroxyl groups that attract water, leading to increased skin hydration.  In other words, it acts as a humectant.

SODIUM BENZOATE

Extraction: benzoic acid salt that is naturally found in blueberries, prunes, cinnamon and apple.

Benefits: it is used as a cosmetic preservative to prevent the growth and proliferation of fungi and bacteria in the products. 

POTASSIUM SORBATE

Extraction: is the potassium salt of sorbic acid that occurs naturally in mountain berries (Sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: acts as a preservative, protecting cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. This compound is easily metabolized by the body and produces water and CO2, therefore it is completely harmless.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

CALCIUM GLUCONATE

Extraction: Calcium salt from gluconic acid.

HYDROGENATED PALM GLYCERIDES CITRATE

Extraction: oily liquid derived from vegetable oils and citric acid.
